Hiking from Tannourine Reserve to Tannourine Tahta


Join the Footprints Nature Club this Sunday 14 September 2025 to walk on a very beautiful trail with very beautiful views and landmarks: 

Hiking from Tannourine Cedars Reserve

to Tannourine Tahta

Our walk will be inside the unique and extraordinary Cedars Reserve of Tannourine that has one of the largest and densest Cedars Forests in Lebanon. Check out all the info of the reserve on the website www.arztannourine.org

The hike for this week will be of a Medium Level with some difficulties (7/10 – 12 to 13 KMs – 4 to 5 hrs): The group will start in the Tannourine Reserve. The trail will continue afterwards on a footpath towards the village of Tannourine Ta7ta.

مشي في الطبيعة من غابة ارز تنورين إلى تنورين التحتا

رحلتنا ستبدأ في غابة أرز تنورين ذات المناخ والطبيعة الرائعة. مستوى الرحلة سيكون مستوى مستوى متوسط مع بعض الصعوبةحوالي 12 كلم، وبوقت حوالي الأربع إلى خمس ساعات. سنبدأ من غابة أرز تنورين، ونتوجه بعدها الى بلدة تنورين التحتا عبر مسار جبلي.

Cost Fees

The trip's fees will be 25$, including:
  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Entrance to Tannourine Reserve

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Sunday 14 Sep, 2025 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Sunday 14 Sep, 2025 at 06:00 PM.

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
